Dreams

Sometimes I wonder if what we dream, is really our subconcious giving insight to what might have been. Why are we always looking in the past when we should be looking towards the future??

My oh my....

Yikes, its been a month since I posted something. Not that I really have anything exciting going on in my life right now, but I should be posting more. I find it hard to believe that it is already September and my little girl is going to be 9 months old tomorrow. She is such an inquisitive little girl, always looking around. I love just sitting and watching her play. She loves to eat cheerios, and I smile when I watch her attack the cheerios, just so she can shove handfuls in her mouth. I keep thinking about how little she was and now she is a squirmy, talkative little girl. She does love her momma though, and it makes my heart happy everytime she starts bouncing when I walk in the room.

I am starting to pull everything together so I can go to school and finish my degree. I love being a stay-at-home mom, but I would love to be doing something else other than just house-cleaning with my time here at home. It looks like I will only have about 2 years left and then off to work I go.

My blue eyed girl is staring at me, wanting me to get off the computer. I can't resist, she is just too cute!!

Today

I got to do one of my most favorite things in the whole world......grocery shopping. I know, I know it sounds super crazy and totally weird, but I acutally enjoy going. I took ms. Bethany along with me today, since I had to go while Justin was working. There's just something about walking up and down the commisary aisles thinking about what meals I can create. ~smiles~ 10 years ago I would never have thought I would be happy going grocery shopping, doing laundry (sometimes, lol), and cleaning house. It just goes to show that things change and with them you do too.

The fridge is finally fixed. Turns out there was ice totally blocking the tube that puts water in the ice maker. I guess one of the nice things about living in base housing is the fact that I can call maintenance and they will come and fix the problem.

I think thats about it...

Water, water everywhere

So I woke up this morning to find water on the floor in front of the fridge. Turns out the water line had popped out in the back and was dripping water down the back of the fridge and onto the floor. In the process of getting it fixed, I realized that I hadn't cleaned underneath the fridge since we moved here two years ago. Talk about mcnasty!!!

Yesterday I walked two miles on the treadmill. I felt really good, but ended up with a huge blister on the back of my foot. I pushed myself to finish with that blister, but now I am hurting. I started doing the Ultimate Walking Challenge and will be walking almost every day for the next 24 weeks. I am looking forward to getting back into shape.

Okay I think thats it for today.

First Post

So I decided since I am staying at home now, I would start blogging. I guess this will be interesting to see what I come up with everyday, lol. First of all, I can't believe that it is almost August. This year has gone by too fast for me. Soon we will be celebrating Bethany's first birthday. She is such a smart little girl, already pulling herself up, crawling EVERYWHERE, and even standing by herself for a couple of seconds before losing her balance. It seems so weird to me sometimes that I am a mom now. I feel very tired sometimes, but as soon as she looks at me and smiles her huge smile, I just fall right back in love. I know, very cliche, (lol) but true.

Right now, with me staying at home everyday, all day, I don't really get any adult interaction, which sucks. I miss being able to hang out with friends or even (gasp) going to work. I never thought I would miss working but I really do. I am hoping to finish school sometime, but I am not sure how long it will be before I can do that.

Okay enough rambling....onto my duties as a home maker (lol)
